M&M Cookies

Makes 48 cookies. For weighing out cookies, our metal bowl weighs 792 g.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup light brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated white sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 4 tsp. vanilla

  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 2 11.4 oz bag of M&M’s

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease two baking sheets.

  • In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars.

  • Add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined.

  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combiled.

  • Fold in the M&M’s.

  • Scoop the cookie dough onto the baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

  • Bake for 12 minutes. Allow cookies to set on pan for 2 minutes, and then remove to a cooling rack.
